About CIP2027

The Conference on Chronic Infection Pathologies is an international meeting dedicated to evidence-based research and informed discussion about chronic and persistent infection-associated conditions. CIP2027 will provide a multidisciplinary platform for presenting emerging research, discussing diagnostic and clinical challenges, and developing connections between researchers, clinicians, laboratories, patients, and other stakeholders. The conference is not limited to a single disease or pathogen. It considers the wider scientific and clinical questions surrounding persistent infections, post-infectious conditions, immune dysfunction, complex diagnostic pathways, and treatment evidence.

Conference Theme — A Wish for Answers: Data to Treatment

For patients and clinicians, the wish is simple: clearer answers and better treatment. For the scientific community, reaching those answers requires reliable data, transparent methods, constructive debate, and the careful translation of research into clinical practice.

The CIP2027 theme reflects this journey: Data → Evidence → Understanding → Treatment

The scientific programme will explore what the available evidence tells us, where important gaps remain, and what research is still needed to improve diagnosis, treatment, and patient care.

What to Expect?

CIP2027 will offer:

  • Evidence-driven scientific and clinical presentations

  • Emerging research and abstract presentations

  • Discussions on diagnostic and treatment evidence

  • Exchange between researchers, clinicians, laboratories, and patients

  • Opportunities for international and multidisciplinary collaboration

  • Networking in the unique surroundings of Finnish Lapland

Scientific Focus
