Building on the scientific momentum of CIP 2025, the second edition of the Conference on Chronic Infection Pathologies continues its mission to advance evidence-based understanding of chronic infections. CIP 2025 brought together international clinicians, researchers, data scientists, and patient advocates to present real-world data on tick-borne diseases, long COVID, polymicrobial infections, AI-driven diagnostics, and immune dysfunction, with a strong emphasis on translating data into clinically meaningful insights. The next edition deepens this trajectory under the theme “From Data to Diagnosis,” highlighting how robust datasets, innovative diagnostics, and machine learning can directly inform clinical decision-making and improve patient outcomes.
The call for abstracts is now open, inviting original research, clinical studies, diagnostic innovations, and patient-centered data that align with this translational focus. Abstract submissions close on 30 June 2026, and registrations will open in April 2026. Following the precedent set by CIP 2025—with its interdisciplinary sessions spanning big data, diagnostics, clinical practice, and patient perspectives—the second edition aims to further bridge the gap between research evidence and real-world diagnosis, empowering healthcare providers with tools grounded in data and driven by clinical relevance.
